Auction sale of horses implements and goods near Surrey Minot
The undersigned offer a public auction on October 10 1908 at a location west of Surrey and east of Minot. Twelve head of horses cattle farm equipment and household goods are listed including rowan and bay geldings, a match team, plows, binders discs wagons and machinery, harness, furniture, beds, stoves, dishes and 80 Plymouth Rock hens plus 100 pullets. Sale begins at 10 a.m. terms cash under $20 and credit on bankable paper over $20 with 12 percent interest. Purchase must stay on premises. several parties listed as owners. Also notes unrelated local incidents including a restaurant fire and a legal notice about an impounded horse with a court summons.
