Minot Rotary members heard complaints about sharp ice price increases since the Minot Ice Co and People’s Ice Co merged. A three member committee, A. G. Crane, F. C. Upton and R. M. Graham, was named to investigate and report next meeting. Some businesses pay up to 100 dollars a month now, with limited relief. A potential ordinance for relief was discussed. A lightning strike at the H A Does farm 4 1/2 miles northeast of Du injured A Magee and briefly unconscious others in the barn. Mrs Magee and two children escaped with slight shocks as the barn and animals suffered damage and a nearby rail incident was reported uncertainly as a fatality. Officials questioned two companions of Robinson and Mr Magee’s relatives prepared to travel east for visits.

She plans to return to Richey Montana with her three year old son next week. Her other two children stay with her mother at the Porters’ home.

Seven Year Old Girl Rescued From Starvation in Oak Park
A seven year old girl from Hummel was found nearly starved on a bench in Oak Park by Mrs Gunder Kirley. She was taken to police matron Mrs John Campbell who questioned the aunt Mrs A E Mohr and her statements about the girl’s whereabouts. Authorities consider possible insanity charges against Mohr and have placed the child in a new home while two of Mohr’s own children remain at the house.
