Henry Auslander returns from the Twin Cities with a large flour consignment and new cookie making machinery. Deputy George Captures Thief Near Kenmare
Deputy Sheriff George arrested George Conrad, 21, who stole a team from Liveryman W. L. Kinser of Kenmare on July 21. Conrad, found 18 miles east of Carrington, pleads guilty. The capture earned the deputy a $100 reward.

Mrs. Jos. Ross Dies Unexpectedly Near Mi not
Mrs Jos Ross moved to Ward county last spring from Shelby county, ten miles southeast of Mi not, and died of heart trouble Monday morning at eight. She had been ill about three years but appeared well, and she collapsed while talking to her daughter. Funeral services were held at Sawyer Wednesday afternoon with burial in Sawyer cemetery. She leaves a husband and seven children, six daughters and one son.
