Dr. Fred G. Albert, a Ironwood Michigan native and son of the late George Albert, will establish a pediatric medicine and surgery practice in association with his brother Dr. S. G. Albert who has practiced general medicine and surgery in Ironwood since 194. Albert is Illinois College of Pediatric Medicine graduate, Surgical Award holder, and Scholastic Honor Society member. He has fifteen years in Surgical Podiatry in Austin Minnesota, is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons, and was Minnesota’s first podiatrist to earn the honor. He has lectured widely and served as past VP of the Minnesota Podiatry Association and past vice chairman of the Minnesota State Board of Podiatry Examiners.
