Abram Liubakka aged 56 died at 2 15 p m Friday at his home in Sunday Lake Wakefield after a lengthy illness He lived in Wakefield 41 years born Finland November 16 1889 he came to the United States in 1905 and worked in local mines until retirement ten years ago He leaves a widow two sons Andrew Taft California and Waine Wakefield a daughter Marie Balruth of Chicago four stepsons Phillip Mattson Reina Mattson Pvt Eugene Mattson Emil Haavikko and a stepdaughter Kenneth Muma of Tacoma and three sisters Mrs Rose Ojala Mrs Mike Mattilla all of Wakefield Township Funeral services were held at the family home Wednesday afternoon with Rev Tulkki Ishpeming presiding Pallbearers listed and many relatives from Michigan and Illinois attended A housewarming for Mr and Mrs Wilbert Ruona was held and a social program followed including music and a purse for the guests Also reported Estrella Sanchez Perez arrived in New York from Spain and will visit Wakefield relatives. Victory Chapter Eastern Star to meet next week with officers practicing beforehand.
