August Reippenen Dies In Go County Bus Crash
An elderly farmer August Gabrielen Reippenen, 70, was killed when a Motor Bus Co. vehicle struck him on US-2 near the Wakefield Iron Co. office. Leo Mallory of Bessemer drove the bus. the driver attempted to avoid a pedestrian but couldn't. Survived by his wife and seven daughters, funeral services set at Neidhold funeral home with Immanuel Lutheran Church rites.
