Mrs August Bye 84 died Friday night at Gogebic Medical Care Facility after long illness. Born Gunda Green October 20 1885 in Lake Hansak Township Minnesota she married August Bye who died in 1952. Survived by daughter Mrs Marvin Morrison six grandchildren five sisters three brothers and many relatives. funeral Tuesday at 2 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev Wallace Leno officiating burial Lakeside Cemetery.

Mrs. John Bugni 69 Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. John Bugni born Mary Normiati died Friday at Ashland Community Hospital where she had been ill since April 22. Funeral service was at Immaculate Conception Church with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Survived by husband six grandchildren and three sons. She lived in Bessemer and Ironwood and had long ties to the surrounding community.
