Wakefield City Commission holds June 12 1940 special meeting
Wakefield Michigan held a special city commission meeting at City Hall on June 12 1940. Minutes of June 4 and 5 were approved. Bills included electric energy sales tax from the State Board of Tax Administration, water analysis approved, and bids authorized for fir lumber manhole frames and brick and a C-18 Evinrude mower. The annual city budget for 1940 41 and the annual appropriation bill were presented by the Department of Accounts and Finance and the Mayor. Present: Mayor Wilson and Commissioners Colberg Cavender Kuivinen Trebil.
