Wakefield City Council approves land purchase and Fourth of July funds
At a special meeting May 20 1971 Mayor Pro Tem Forte presided with four council members present. The council authorized purchase of Lot 13 East Pike Addition for 200 under a ten year reverter covenant to expand a future park. It also backed substitute Senate Bill 25 to boost county fair funding, approved building permits for Halvorsen Ravelli and West, and donated 200 from the 1970 71 budget to the Fourth of July Committee. The meeting adjourned at 8 45 p m.
