Wakefield Michigan City Council met May 16 1949 at City Hall with Mayor Kent and five councilors present. Bills were approved, disputes settled with American Legion Auxiliary, and various department reports received and filed. building permits discussed, civil service nominees named, and budget planning for 1949 50 noted.
