Hugo Palo aged 63 died early Saturday at Divine Infant Hospital after a July 19 crash on M-28 near the Shell Service gas station. He was alone when his car left the highway, struck a culvert, and suffered multiple injuries. He is survived by his wife and daughter. The body was moved to Virginia for burial. Alvin Lewis, 55, Hurley, was killed March 12 in a collision with a logging truck on US-2 west of Wakefield.
