Mrs Edward White Dies at 47 in Grand View Hospital

Mrs Edward White, 47, died Sunday at Grand View hospital. She is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters. Others include Mrs DeLois Hopkins of Wakefield, a half sister, and her mother Mrs Susan Amore of Thomaston. Funeral rites were held Thursday morning at Marenisco.

Wakefield taps new water source with 600000 gallon eight hour test

City engineers report eight hours of pumping from three wells at the Wakefield site yielded about 600 000 gallons, exceeding the 500 000 gallon contractual target. The test will continue for five to seven days under state supervision to assess flow, recovery time and well capacity.
