Elias Johnson 69 Dies At Veterans Hospital
Elias Johnson died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Battle Creek where he had been a patient for 30 years. He was born in Wakefield November 28, 1893 and served in World War I in Europe where he was severely injured. He was not married. Surviving are a sister Mrs Lily Reynolds of Wakefield and a brother Edward Johnson of Newberry. Funeral services held Tuesday at Lakeside Memorial Chapel with Rev Rudolph Kemppainen officiating. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
