Escapes After Cave In At Sunday Lake Mine

Funeral Rites Held for Oscar Blodgett 64
Hold funeral services were held at Marenisco Tuesday for Oscar Blodgett 64 who died at Niobe North Dakota. He is survived by a sister Mrs Grace Remington Kalamazoo a son William and a daughter Mrs Richard Thomas both of Marenisco. He was formerly agent for the Northwestern railroad at Marenisco and in 1910 a telegrapher at Wakefield station. He lived in Wakefield for three or four years.

Two Injured In US-2 Bedell Ave Crash In Wakefield
At the US-2 and Bedell avenue intersection Tuesday evening a crash left Miss Patsy Hagood and Mrs Edna Achter with cuts and bruises and two others unharmed. John D. Bugni drove one car. Chester Dumask the other. both vehicles were badly damaged. All injured were taken to Wakefield hospital and later released.

Girl Scout Troop Elects Officers at Feb Meeting
