Annual Penny Carnival Held at Wakefield High School
The 10th Annual Penny Carnival sponsored by the Wakefield High School Conservation Club took place Saturday February 3 from 7 to 10 PM in the Music Auditorium. Games ran 7 to 8 PM, cake walks 8 to 830 PM, singers entertained, and dancing followed 9 to 10 PM. red and white Valentine decor graced the hall, with club officers and members listed and Mr. Lauri O. Maki as sponsor.

Returns From Vacation Mrs Gladys Leman Visits Wakefield Friends
Mrs Gladys Leman returned Saturday night after a month and a half vacation visiting her daughter Marion an instructor in Redwood City California. They traveled to Sacramento to see Mrs Alda Utley West a former local teacher and met Mrs Lena Barnett a former resident noted as the 12 year old pianist who played in Wakefield’s first theatre. West and Barnett send best wishes to Wakefield friends who remember them.
