Mrs. Berga Dies Visiting Daughter in Manitowish Wisconsin
Mrs. Peter Berga 66 died at her daughter’s home in Manitowish Saturday morning while visiting for two weeks. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s with Rev. Louis Cappo.presiding. Surviving children include Mrs. Dominic Vittone and Mrs. Basto and two sons James and John. nine grandchildren. Born October 10 1885 in Samfront Italy.

Night School Classes End With Social Hour
Night school adult classes in drivers education and woodworking concluded a 12 week term Thursday evening. Fifteen students completed training with James Mezzano in drivers education and Peter Petranek supervising woodworking. A social hour with lunch and coffee followed in the school cafeteria. Mines Ship Nearly 3 Million In 1951 Ore Output
The Pickands, Mather & Co. Lake Superior mines shipped 14,317,634 gross tons of iron ore in 1951, up from 1950 and 1949.
