World Day of Prayer Plans Advance in Bessemer Area
Plans for the World Day of Prayer on February 25 are under way with First Presbyterian Church of Bessemer hosting. Now in its fourth year in the area the event falls on the first Friday of Lent to unite United Church Women in prayers for unity and peace. Participating groups include Pres byterian and Sharon Lutheran of Bessemer First and Immanuel Lutheran and the Methodist Churches of Wakefield and the Presbyterian church at Marenisco.
