Former resident fatally injured at Jackson Bridge
Olaf Hovinen, 35, a former resident of this city, was injured Sunday morning when his car struck a railing on Jackson Creek bridge six miles east of here on M-28. He died early Monday at Grand View Hospital after being transported to Wakefield with his brother. Born in Hancock, he lived there until six years ago and worked at the Peoples Cooperative Store. Survived by wife, one son, and five brothers. Funeral services were held Thursday at Hancock.
