The Wakefield Township School Board election will fill two vacancies due to terms of Wilbert H Juntuila and Harry L Trezise expiring June 30 1966. Filing closes May 14 1966 with no petitions yet. Students chosen for Summer Science Training at NMU

Arnestad Wins Contract for Marenisco Post Office
Leo W Arnestad and Marenisco residents were awarded the post office construction contract announced by Congressman Raymond F Clevenger and Senator Philip A Hart. The one story building on Railroad Street is due August with 945 square feet, about one third larger than the current 648 square foot facility. The Post Office Department will lease it for 1310 a year for five years with options to renew for ten more years.
