Scout Leaders Hold Round Table Session
Scout masters from Wakefield, Bessemer, Ironwood, Hurley and Ashland attended a round table meeting at the Sunday Lake Gun club Thursday evening. Larry Peter son, field scout executive, Ashland, was the principal speaker. Plans were completed for the Scout circus to be held next Wednesday April 27 at the Ironwood school gymnasium. Horse Races to Feature County Fair Aug 11 to 14
Gogebic county fair will revive horse racing in August with six races over a mile and three heats each. Purses total 3000 dollars across the six events, with entry blanks sent to applicants and national rules applying. W. B.
