The Wakefield Sportsman's association approved a proposal to close Lake Gogebic to all fishing during Pike spawning from March 31 to May 15. The plan will go to Northern Michigan Sportsman's associations and to the Department of Conservation for approval. Robbery Charge Lofted Against Three Men in Bes semer Court
Preliminary examination on robbery charges will be held next Tuesday in Justice A J Gedda's court at Bessemer for Anton Valesano Fred Lane and John Holma all of this city. They were arrested last Saturday night on a complaint by Theodore Witkoski of Gogebic Station. Witkoski said he was robbed of his watch and about 12 dollars in currency after being taken for a ride. Lane and Valesano have been released on 1000 dollar bonds.
