Milo Kronsich, former Wakefield high school teacher and Riverview High School counselor in Wyndette Michigan, attended the American Personnel and Guidance Association convention in Washington DC during April 4 7. The 8000 counselors discussed aiding disadvantaged youth elder citizens emotionally disturbed and vocational education amid technological change. Easter weekend visitors to the Lepisto home included Clyde Lepisto’s family from Escanaba and Duluth.

Mrs Arnold Swanson was elected president of the Wakefield Woman's Club at a high school auditorium meeting on Wednesday. Former Resident Harju Dies in Springfield at 83
Erland Henry Harju age 83 of 1136 East N St Springfield Oregon died in a local hospital April 9. A retired carpenter he lived in Springfield nine years and was born January 11 1883 in Finland arriving in the United States in 1903. Survived by son Viljo Harju daughter Mrs Dean Knudsen Aberdeen Wash two step sisters Mrs Ernst Swanson and Mrs Hilda Kruutari six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services held April 12 at Burns Frederickson Funeral Home officiated by Pastor William King with private interment in Lane Memorial Gardens.
