Axel Hill Cuts Over Three Million Feet of Timber
More than 3,000,000 feet of logs were harvested this winter by Axel Hill for the Underwood Veneer Co of Wausau Wisconsin. About 300,000 feet were left in the woods due to early spring break up. The rest was hauled to the Northwestern siding on the Connor line, decked and being loaded for the company mills.
