Elkton committees tackle town issues in staged meetings
The Elkton Town Council uses six standing subcommittees to review safety, ordinances, and policy topics. The latest joint session with Electric, Public Health Safety and Ordinances, and Finance committees examined overgrown branches, trash collection times, fines for missed cans, speeding on Wirt Avenue, and flooding along Elk Run. Meetings are open to the public and reflect careful, modular action rather than a single monthly council session.
