Elkton Kite Festival Rebounds With Late Donations
Elkton Historical Society organizers say late donations rescued this year’s Kite Festival fundraiser. A shortfall of about 7000 dollars narrowed hopes, but sponsors contributed extra after the appeal. The show, featuring a 10 am morning and 5 pm evening session, charges 3 dollars for adults and relies on good weather for success.
