Shenandoah Council Cuts Credit Card Fee to Max Limit
At a Sept 24 meeting the Shenandoah Town Council learned a letter from Treasurer Cindy Breeden showed credit card payments at town hall exceeded the legal maximum by five cents. The council unanimously voted to drop the fee to the allowed 3.95 dollars. The town also received notice from the Northern Shenandoah Valley Planning Commission that the comprehensive plan must be updated every five years, covering population, maps, and compliance data.
