Wisdom and Wit by Carl Karlburg: Affliction’s Two Outcomes
A sermon style piece argues believers endure trials yet are kept safe by God. It contrasts the wicked who suffer as afflictions slay them with Christians who gain perseverance and deeper faith, citing Psalm 34, Isaiah 43, 1 Peter, and Revelation 21. It blends anecdotes of faith under hardship with humorous Dad quotes and brief limericks.
