Wisdom and Wit Excerpt Refutes Popular Bible Verses
A compact critique of modern sayings not in Scripture. The piece cites Daniel, Psalm 32 8 and 37 7 among others to argue God may not remove us from trouble, and discusses doors and waiting, prayer and desire, and the claim God has a wonderful plan. It contrasts verse promises with lived faith, warning against genie like prayers.
