Mountain View 4 H aids Ruritan Barbecue
The Elkton Ruritans served charcoal barbecue chicken halves last Saturday morning. Seven hundred fifty halves were gone by 10 30 a m. A dozen Ruritans joined by 15 Mountain View 4 H youth and parents. Ruritan volunteers lit the grill at 6 a m. The barbecue, held every other Saturday in summer at the Old Spotswood Trail pit, invites a school or community club to share proceeds.
