Neon Summer returns home to Stanley for free Jun 30 show
The Virginia country trio Neon Summer journeys from Nashville back to Stanley for a free Friday concert June 30 staged off Main Street. The band formed in 2007 in Page County and gained early momentum at the Grand Ole Opry, with recent exposure from a CMT video. Neon Summer, led by Marty and Angela Short with Anna Ash, blends traditional and contemporary country and plans new material ahead of a follow up in the works. The event, hosted with local support, will feature opening acts and a promised surprise from manager Eddie Lee. Neon Summer also schedules a June 28 appearance in Harrisonburg at The Golden Pony.
