Brix and Columns Vineyard Opens at Six Penny Farm
Steven and Stephanie Pence opened Brix and Columns Vineyards about two months ago at Six Penny Farm, ten miles east of Harrisonburg. Steven, an allergist, runs Allergy and Asthma Associates of Virginia and helps supply daily pollen counts for the Daily News Record while tending the winery in the evenings. The couple first considered a McGaheysville farm, but distance proved too great for their shared venture.
