VFW Post and American Legion honor veterans at Elkton Cemetery
In preparation for Memorial Day, about two dozen Gooden Brothers VFW Post 9292 and Elkton American Legion Post members decorated graves at Elkton Cemetery. They used a 427 name list compiled by Charlotte Shifflett with Civil War input from Casey Billhimer, placing around 360 flags. Call Sam Gentry or Bill Davis to flag any unmarked grave.
