Shenandoah Valley Chapter Chartered Daughters 1812 Form 20 Members
Twenty women became charter members of the Shenandoah Valley Chapter, tracing lineages to the War of 1812 and earlier U S roots. The meeting honored ancestry ties from McGaheysville to Luray with pledge, creed, flag salute, and blessings. Members Monger Price and Crump lead, with requirements to prove military or civil service for 1812 lineage.
