Holiday home and church tour set for Sunday Elkton event features three residences
Elkton residents can tour three homes Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m as part of the Elkton Progressive Improvement Committee Holiday Home and Church Tour. The featured homes are 1010 St 607 4th St and 611 4th St with Faith Alive Fellowship church located in Elk Plaza to the north.

Rite Aid relocation blocked over Elkton access issues
Elkton planners halted a proposed Rite Aid move at Elkton Plaza after the shopping center owner refused access plans. Sunrise Properties LLC of Bethesda, Md, owns the plaza, while Spotswood Trail Development LLC proposed a 14,560 square foot brick and block store with a drive through near U.S. 33. Tim Reamer, Harrisonburg broker and principal, declined comment amid rezoning actions in adjacent Quail Run subdivision.

MillerCoors Shenandoah distributed holiday turkeys to Elkton Area United Services Food Pantry patrons for Thanksgiving. EAUS Executive Director Marsha Deavers praised the partner, noting seven years of MillerCoors Shenandoah donations totaling about $42,000.
