Ski building underway at Massanutten Resort
Massanutten Resort starts a nearly 2.2 million ski building to house the children's ski program and instructor locker rooms. Peak Construction Co. obtained the Rockingham County permit for a two story structure at 4093 Massanutten Drive for Great Eastern Resort Corp. The 14 500 square foot facility will free lodge space for the public and could add seating and a food outlet. Instructors work with about 200 children on busy days, and officials expect to grow lessons year round with future phases expanding uses beyond winter.
