Misconceptions Concerning Forgiveness by Carl Karlburg
My article explains forgiveness as a process not a permission slip. It clarifies that forgiving does not condone the offense or erase memory but shifts God as judge, preserves personal safety, and states reconciliation is not always required. It cites Jesus teaching on forgiving seventy times seven and contrasts Jewish limits with Christian ideals. It ends with a treasury of witty quotes on forgiveness and humanity.
