Spotswood Band Leader Aims For 10th Virginia Honor Band
Greg Oaks at Spotswood High leads a program with nine Virginia Honor Band ratings, the most in Rockingham County. Since 2001 the bands have earned top honors in both marching and concert categories, bolstered by strong drill design and tonal unity. Oaks seeks a 10th award to set a state benchmark and gain wider recognition at VBDA and WBDA events.
