Elkton deploys new tech to detect sewer leaks citywide
Elkton uses a $49,000 underground video camera and an I and I based system to locate leaks in nine basins. Town Manager Reid Wodicka maps lines, measures flow at seven manholes, and compares to billed water use to estimate leakage. The approach allows targeted repairs, reduces major fixes, and DEQ may adopt the method.

Government proceeds with sale of Crawford properties across Elkton area
The district court ordered forfeiture of 26 Crawford properties after Odell Crawford, 64, was sentenced to 30 years for operating a drug ring. Old Dominion Crossroads agent Lisa Hensley and Massanutten Realty list and sell sites from Elkton to Grottoes, with renters paying the U.S. Marshals.
