A letter from Annabel Davis recounts a mob threat against a Black man arrested after a girl cried for help. The Irish police chief Mc Gee stood against the crowd while a Catholic bystander urged Christians and Americans to uphold justice, denouncing lynching as murder and urging lawful due process.
Reverend Robert Bruce Clark of the Puritans Church announces resignation after years of battle against what he calls a rising African American population. He warns Harlem’s white congregations are doomed as the district shifts rapidly toward Negro dominance, predicting the white church will be surrounded.
November 18 report says Freeman Lang former Marine Corporal faced further evidence in a Naval Court of Inquiry into American marines actions in Haiti. Meratus Touissiant testified Lang summoned a Haitian prisoner from Hindhe jail in 1918, questioned him and executed him with a machine gun at ten paces as the victim walked away.
In Shelbyville Indiana on November 18 the jury found John Anderson guilty of assault and battery with intent to attack his 14 year old daughter Lillie Anderson. He was sentenced to two to four years in Indiana State Prison Michigan City. Anderson 49 admitted guilt but later pled not guilty claiming loco motor ataxia made any assault impossible.
Touissiant testified he saw Lang apply current from a wireless apparatus to a prisoner to force talk. In cross examination he could not confirm fatality, adding the man died two days later. The piece notes unrecorded Haitian casualties and critiques American actions.

Miss Anna Reispeck, 16, of Lockland, testified that Thomas Francis, 34, of Maple Avenue, threatened her with a knife near a cornfield on November 10 and attacked her later.
