Keg explosion kills man at Norfolk drug store
James Parker, a Black man, was sitting on a keg of grain alcohol inside a Norfolk drug store when the container exploded. He was blown to the ceiling, struck a stove pipe, and died from a broken neck. The keg’s bottom side blew out but the vessel remained otherwise undamaged.
