Joliet Illinois June 4 a reported Klan event attracted 39000 to 56000 attendees with 2600 candidates naturalized in the so called Invisible Empire. About 6000 cars carried Klansmen from up to 200 miles. A Chicago newspaper received a report detailing ceremonies and planned initiations.
Boston June 2 An order to create a special recess commission to investigate alleged or proposed discrimination against Jewish students at Harvard was introduced by Representative George Pearl Webster Progressive leader. He urged a bipartisan panel to study prejudice, noting racial bias as the worst form.
Refused twenty thousand dollars for Donges the Celt Colt owned by Will Perkins. Spence offered Perkins twenty thousand for the colt but the deal was rejected. The Enquirer notes Donges is highly regarded. Perkins, famed trainer, handles many horses and co-owns a stable with M. C. Moore of Dayton, whose health limits his involvement.

Paris June 5 The Thin Skirt League forms to safeguard the rights of young women with shapely figures who face a summer edict demanding long skirts. Members pledge to wear long skirts yet use very thin fabric so their figures remain visible even in shade.
The Tuskegee Glee Club, with Lieut Gow formerly of Walnut Hill Church, travels the Northern states on its annual tour. Chas Winter Wood of Tuskegee serves as financial secretary in charge, known for his energy and fundraising success.
A fourteen year old white girl from Louisville claimed a brown skinned man cut off her hair in an alley to explain a bobbed look. The story circulated publicly and spurred a search, but it was later proven false and no lynching occurred.
Jas Weldon Johnson of the N A A C P says the Dyer Anti Lynch Law will receive a favorable report and be passed by the Senate. The statement emphasizes advocacy against lynching and signals congressional action supported by civil rights groups.
