Washington Terrace Improvement Club held a large meeting. birthday repast served. Elizabeth Christian hosted United Daughters on February 43rd. Blanche Richardson entertained at cards with Mrs William and Mrs Ed Taylor. Anna Saunders, mother of Dorsey Saunders, died at Kemper Lane. Christine Bright Griffin ill at Kemper Avenue. Ada Griffin visited Ripley on business. John Griswold and Nannie Harris wed Monday. Mrs Williams of Columbus ill at 606 Mound Street. Local talk of a trenches veteran lecturing at St John A M E Church February 19 with music. Rosa Taylor hosted guests in honor of Mrs Jackson of Dayton. Corporal William S Coleman discharged from Camp Jackson via Camp Taylor. Private Henry Robert Graham and Henry Carpenter arrived from overseas with the 369th Infantry. Cincinnati basketball win noted. Rev H W Tate injured in auto accident. Dr Schooley improving. Carrie King praised as a Smarter Set member. Forum Speakers Preview Americanization Talk February 16

Lieutenant de Wierzbicki praised France at The Forum last Sunday. Dr George Eisler will discuss Americanization at 4 P M on Sunday February 16 with a 17 voice male chorus led by Mr linton Gibbs. Dr Frank Johnson, Forum president, and Rev E H Oxley praised the meeting and referred to France as the "lium of the Past."
