Mobs clash in Belfast amid sectarian violence surges

In Belfast Northern Ireland a new round of Catholic and Protestant clashes left streets strewn with firebombs as police and troops moved to contain fighting. Two British soldiers died accidentally in separate incidents, the first fatalities among troops deployed to restore order last month. Canadian woman bears quads at Vancouver hospital

A 25-year-old Vancouver housewife, Mrs Bernadette Larmer, gave birth to quadruplets Saturday at St Pauls Hospital. The four premature infants include three girls and a boy and are reported doing well by Dr R H McNaughton. He said the mother had an essentially natural childbirth for the first two, with help for the second two, the first two delivered head-first and the latter two breach.
