Pro Soviet Czechs beaten at Prague anti-Dubcek gathering

About 2,500 conservatives at a Soviet Czechoslovak Friendship Society breakfast denounced Dubcek and praised Moscow. Police watched as at least three were beaten with umbrellas and four others injured. Vaclav David, ex foreign minister, energized the crowd with praise for the Soviet Union amid cries of long live the Soviet Union and out with the guilty ones.

Nugents plan Hawaii holiday during Vietnam leave

Gas tank blast kills 11 in Hallo City Philippines
