Mass slayings claim mother and four children near Grass Valley
A mother Charlene Sheriff and her four children Michelle 13 Steven 10 David 4 Tina 2 were fatally wounded at the grandparents home in Cherry Creek Acres near Grass Valley California. Grandparents Russell and Charlotte Faylor were critically hurt while Alexander Massimo Vichi 41 the estranged husband of the victim was arrested in Healdsburg after authorities linked him to the series of mass slayings in the Sierra foothills coast region. Police say Vichi faced multiple counts and was jailed in Sonoma County while neighbors recall the violence as part of a wave of attacks within 25 miles of Grass Valley.
