Czechs burn Soviet flags amid anti Soviet protests

In Bratislava on the eve of the Bolshevik Revolution anniversary thousands of students tore down and burned Soviet flags. In Prague, troops and police sealed a 15 block area around the National Theater to curb anti Soviet demonstrations during a Russian ballet performance.

Teenage demonstrators in Bratislava jeered during a Gounod Romeo and Juliet performance, pulling down and burning Soviet flags while applauding. Police watched as ushers removed a window flag. elsewhere in Prague barricades formed around the National Theater amid anti-Soviet protests preceding a ballot.
