Tanker overturns near Glens Falls spilling gasoline
State police report a gasoline tank truck overturned about five miles north of Glens Falls on route 149, rupturing the tank and spilling thousands of gallons along the roadway. There was no fire, traffic was detoured, and four volunteer fire companies hosed the spill with foam and fog while the driver escaped serious injury.
