Kissinger Frames Cuba Plans as Precautionary

Secretary of State Kissinger told a Senate committee the administration’s contingency reviews against Cuba are precautionary and not tied to an imminent crisis. He said warnings aim to deter Cuba and the Soviet Union from further African military involvement and stressed no immediate move is planned. King-size carver John Zweifel of Orlando Florida displays a hand carved model of the White House he spent 16 years completing. The exact likeness includes miniature furniture for each room. Zweifel and his model tour the country and were shown in Des Moines this week.
