Soviet Premier Kosygin spoke with about 70 reporters at an unusual press briefing before leaving for Havana aboard a Dyushin 18 turboprop. He expressed gratitude for hospitality from President Johnson and New Jersey officials and said, We will be seeing you again, in a cordial farewell.
