Mourning for Dr Jose Gil at burial after murder
Family friends and patients gathered at Hilltop Cemetery for the funeral of 36 year old Dr Jose F Gil killed Saturday. Juan Gil resisted a plea to leave the graveside as mourners offered comfort and prayers. The ceremony in the Church of the Immaculate Conception featured Father Maher’s Mass of the Resurrection and holy water sprinkling before the coffin was lowered to its final resting place.
